Mango Six Cafe

Today, I want to talk about Mango Six Cafe, a very cute cafe located in Seoul. To be honest, I haven't been there before. Yet, I really want to go there if I can go to Seoul at some further stages. The question is why I love this lovely cafe without having any experiences. It's so funny, isn't it?

I first saw Mango Six Cafe in the popular Korean drama, A Gentleman's Dignity. One of the main characters whose name is Lee Jung-rok (Lee Jong-hyung) is the owner of the Mango Six Cafe which makes it their meeting point.

That was great because I could see this lovely cafe more than I expected. Especially, I couldn't forget the scene that Kim Do-jin (Jang Dong-gun) fell in love with Seo Yi-soo (Kim Ha-neul) because it took place in Mango Six Cafe. Unforgettable scene! Heavy rain suddenly started while Kim Do-jin was sitting at the table next to the window. Seo Yin-soo immediately took the shelter of the Mango Six Cafe to try to escape from the heavy rain. Then, bingo! Kim Do-jin just watched her and fell in love.

It was a great surprise to see Mango Six Cafe when I watched another popular Korean drama, Kill Me Heal Me. It  was like seeing an old friend after a long time.

I am especially curious about the juice bars and smoothies. So colorful and attractive! I believe that those are so delicious! Hope I can visit Seoul one day and have a chance to try Cafe Mango Six's attractive smoothies.

I want to hear your voice my dear Korean friends who visited to Mango Six Cafe. Please feel free to leave a comment about your experience related to Mango Six Cafe. In addition, I'll be very happy if you let me know any other Korean Dramas take place there.

Have a great weekend!

Healer Kdrama

I have just completed the 20 episodes of the Healer. I can say that it is one of the best Korean dramas I have ever watched. To be honest, I had no idea about the Healer before I watched it. Yet, the plot attracted my whole attention. It was so exciting,fast-moving, and amazing. I continued to watch it with a great enthusiasm and never wanted it to finish!
Let's give some information on the drama. Healer is both the title of the drama and the codename of the main character, Seo Jung-hoo (Ji Chang-wook). He has to use a codename because he works as an illegal night errand guy. We basically understand that he is the best professional in this illegal industry and he has a well-known reputation for accomplishing any given tasks with his fighting skills and of course with the help of wearable smart gadgets and his hacker partner (ahjumma). I would like to tell you that his fighting skills are really impressive and I really enjoyed to watch the action scenes. I was disappointed when I found out that Ji Chang-wook used a stunt double for action scenes! Anyway, the action scenes were so convincing and of course impressive. I love the main character -Healer- and the starring Ji Chang-wook. He is a very talented and handsome actor. To be honest, I became a fan of him after watching Healer.

I should also say something about ahjumma -the hacker partner of the Healer- because she deserved applause. She is one of the most impressive characters with her charismatic voice, amazing hacker skills and of course her upset story which we could learn after about 10th episode. It is so interesting that healer does not know her in person! They talk only on phone. Nevertheless, they have a strong relationship.

Healer's dream was to save money and to buy a small island in the Pacific Ocean to live there alone. Alone?? Why?? Because he doesn't have any friends. After then, we learnt that his father died when he was a small kid and his mom left him to get married. So upset and we can understand how he can be so alone in his own world. Also his teacher who taught him the fighting skills, made him healer, and introduced him to ahjumma left him, too.

Healer was given a task to get nail or hair samples from three different girls. The man who gave this task to healer was Kim Moon-hoo (Yoo Ji-tae), a star reporter who is very famous for his honesty and trustworthy.
Kim Moon-hoo  wanted those samples for DNA tests to find his noona's daughter who was supposed to died 20 years ago. Yet, none of the samples were matched. Luckily, the final one was the right girl, Chae Young-shin (Park Min-young). Chae Young-shin is an internet reporter and is fan of Kim Moon-hooKim Moon-hoo  wanted to learn whether Chae Young-shin had a happy childhood and her future dreams because he regretted from helping her elder brother to hide the truths from his noona who is currently married with his elder brother. According to the final task, healer started to follow Chae Young-shin and he discovered something related to his past. Thus, he decided to stay closer to Chae Young-shin to learn the truth about his past. To apply his plan, he introduced himself as Park Boon So and started to work with her as her sunbae. The scenes of Park Bong-soo were so funny because Ji Chang-wook became a completely different person from healer when he played the Park Bong-soo -a coward and panic person-. I really appreaciate Ji Chang-wook. He is so talented!
Healer fell in love with Chae Young-shin immediately. Now he has two goals. To learn the truths about both his and her past and to save Chae Young-shin's life because Kim Moon-hoo's elder brother also learnt that she was the daughter of his wife. That made her life in danger! Healer saved Chae Young-shin's life more than 2 times which makes her to fall in love with him without knowing that Park Boon Soo was the healer. To be honest, those scenes were so romantic! I adore their love.

I think I gave many spoilers about the drama. Thus, I want to stop here. Yet, I should say that the final episode was a little bit disappointing. Thanks God, it ended happily but not satisfactory. There were unanswered questions. Here are my questions. First of all, I'm so curious about the dream of healer to buy the island in the Pacific Ocean because he started to dream to move there with Chae Young-shin. However, he also wanted to live as ordinary people after having a relationship with her. Do they get married? Is healer working as a reporter? What about Kim Moon-hoo 's elder brother? What is ahjumma doing? Is she still works a hacker?

I think the final episode was too fast and never attempted to answer the above questions. Anyway, those
unanswered questions never changed my opinions that Healer is one of the best Korean Dramas I have ever watched.
